Ormai è risaputo: l’amato/odiato telefonino della mela morsicata sta facendo ‘scuola’ per quanto riguarda il design, ma di certo i concorrenti non stanno a guardare, infatti dopo Nokia con l’annuncio del suo Tube anche Philips sta facendo di tutto per entrare a far parte del mondo dei telefonini completamente touchscreen..
Alcune immagini (al dire il vero non sono proprio immagini ma un rendering effettuato tramite computer), mostrano come potrebbe essere l’ultima creatura firmata Philips. Il suo design obbiettivamente è molto piacevole da guardare ed il suo nome è Philips X800.
Il nuovo X800 avrà un ampio display ovviamente completamente touchscreen con tecnologia E2E, sta per edge-to-edge ma, ancora non è stato dichiarato il significato preciso di questa funzionalità. In ogni caso il cellulare opera su reti Vodafone di Hong Kong (che è effettivamente chiamato SmarTone- Vodafone) quindi deduciamo che sarà 3G, oltre a tutto questo, possiamo dedurre dalle immagini, che avrà integrato un lettore multimediale, Wi-Fi e browser per la navigazione in web.
Una cosa molto strana però, è che, anche se nel menù è presente l’icona della macchina fotografica, non c’è nessuna parte hardware che ne dichiari la veridicità. Beh un cellulare di ultima generazione completamente touchscreen è molto strano da vedere senza macchina fotografica. Sarebbe decisamente fuori mercato. Ma dal momento che stiamo parlando di immagini che, molto probabilmente, non rappresenteranno totalmente il prodotto finale, prima di emettere sentenze è meglio aspettare le foto ufficiali ed eventuali dettagli.
L’X800 potrebbe appartenere alla famiglia degli Xenium, resa popolare e conosciutissima grazie alla durata della batteria che è in grado di fornire. E, per ‘durata’ si intende fino a un mese di stand-by, il che sarebbe davvero rivoluzionario per un cellulare touchscreen.
Comunque, tutto sommato, ben venga la creazione di nuovi cellulari touchscreen, poiché più prodotti usciranno e più la concorrenza aumenterà facendo costruire prodotti sempre migliori, e tutto questo a favore dell’utente finale. Voi che ne pensate? Davvero bello e rivoluzionario questo X800 non credete?
