Nokia: tecnologia PureView presto su Windows Phone

Dopo aver mostrato al mondo il nuovo Nokia 808 PureView, in molti sono rimasti sbalorditi dalla camera posteriore da 41 megapixel ma anche delusi dal sistema operativo utilizzato su questo dispositivo, ovvero Symbian.

Dopotutto era normale, visto che Nokia aveva cominciato a lavorare su questa tecnologia ben 5 anni fa, quando Windows Phone ancora non esisteva.

Nonostante questo Jo Harlow, Vice Presidente Esecutivo Nokia, ha dichiarato ad un giornale finlandese che presto la tecnologia PureView verrà introdotta anche su un Windows Phone. Non sanno ancora quanto tempo ci vorrà, visto che bisogna adattare il tutto al processore Qualcomm, ma sembra ottimista su una sua realizzazione a breve termine.

Le prestazioni non dovrebbero essere un problema – il Nokia 808 utilizza un processore single-core a 1,3 GHz con 512 MB ed è un chip custom che svolge tutto il lavoro pesante. Queste caratteristiche sono sicuramente al livello degli attuali telefoni WP7.
