Dovrebbe arrivare a breve un nuovo aggiornamento per risolvere il problema che porta gli iPhone 5S (e successivi) a bloccarsi se si imposta la data al 1 gennaio 1970.
Questo quanto confermato da Apple:
If you changed the date to May 1970 or earlier and can’t restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Manually changing the date to May 1970 or earlier can prevent your iOS device from turning on after a restart. An upcoming software update will prevent this issue from affecting iOS devices. If you have this issue, contact Apple Support.
Ecco un possibile percorso da seguire:

Togliere la SIM dal dispositivo

Attendere che la batteria si esaurisca del tutto

Ricaricare e riavviare l’iPhone

Ripristinare manualmente la data corretta
Non resta che attendere il nuovo aggiornamento per gli iPhone.
